Bonjourno! Ciao! Prego! Gratzi! Arrivaderci!
Saying those words almost seemed like a joke because we always say it jokingly in the States so actually saying it in Italy makes it seem so unreal/weird! I don't know! Also, they intermix the usage of the words so much that when I encountered an Italian, I never knew what to say. Hehe. But anyways, the FOOD was so amazing. Lots of times, when I travel to other counties, I restrict myself and only eat food from that region of the country. For example, Spain = Paella, not Pasta (though I wouldn't mind Paella everyday). But alas!! In Italy, I could whatever my heart desired and every single thing was super amazing!!!!!!! And most definitely, gelatox4? during the whole trip. Yum.

Here are the recaps of Venice and Milan!
Venice
Just like the tumblr pictures.
Amazing, indeed.
Linda and I were stationed in Milan and we decided to take a day trip out to Venice, where we would meet Suz, who was going to come back to Milan with us. It was a 60euro round-trip which is not that bad, but as my program is coming to an end, my money pot is as well ): But, I was super glad I took the trip out into the beautiful city!!
The city was seriously so cute and so quaint, exactly what you see in movies and pictures. My favorite part of the day was the Salmon pizza. So simple, but so delicious. Also, the pistachio gelato, which reminds me of my papa because he really likes pistachio! Suz and I agreed that it tastes like bangoo (fart), but it's somehow really yummy. Another plus is that I got all my souvenir shopping done in Venice!!! Whooot! All the small shops with their specialities in glass-making, leather goods, book making, etc. helped me check, check, check! everything off my list. This is a very good thing because everyday I'm like, "I need to buy something for _________." But now, je suis fini! (I am finished!)
Also, Gondolas!! I couldn't ride a gondola because we haz no money but we did ride "one" for 30 seconds. We paid 50 cents to take us across the canal to Suz's hotel. Good enough.
Venice, you were nice.

Milan
Exactly like everyone said it was.
Dirty, crowded, nothing to do but shop.
I was really sad to find that Milan really had nothing to do. Yes, there was the Duomo but were were done with that in less than an hour. And yes, there were dozens and dozens of shops, but I am too poor for that. Still! We tried to make the most out of it and walked into the million Zaras and H&Ms and others. The city was also very crowded with tons of people and it was almost hard to breathe!!! My goodness it was a crazy city. Please take my advice, if you could choose any city in Italy, don't choose Milan...it's not worth it!! BUT, they had these amazing calzones for 2.50euro that Linda found and I literally had one for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was that good. The bread so was so doughy and fat and the insides were so gooey, plain, and simple. Gash, I want one right now. I only talk about food huh? (Sidenote: how can you not gain weight while you're studying abroad in Europe and there's all this amazing food in front of you. It's gonna be okay!!) Here, I also got my very first Vogue magazine! Vogue Italia at that! "Only in Italy". I had no idea what anything said but the pictures were nice. Hehe. And our hostel, was super horrible. So dirty and so horrible. I got 5 bug bites. Right on my hand. It's itching right now as I type.
Milan, you were not so nice.
But I'm still happy with your food.

This post was kinda bad but I told you, I'm kinda zombie-mode right now.
And the food my madame is cooking for me...smells...sooo...good.
I'm gonna eat it, take a shower, and ktfreakout.
Tomorrow, I shall begin the studying intensity.
One must rest sometimes.
Thumbs up!
Life is good.
CIAO!
Edit!!!!!
My granny made the endives with ham again ): I don't like endives because they are very bitter! Then, she gave me a beets and apple salad. Beets taste like the earth!! THEN, she have me fromage blanc (white cheese) because she ran out of yogurt...BLEHHHH cheeeeeeese ):
Hahaha, life is still good.
