Living Social had this deal called "Ship N' a Bottle" and it consisted of a Newport Beach boat cruise, wine, and cheese and crackers. David and I had the whole summer to redeem our deal but of course, we wait until the last minute, right before it expires. We end up choosing the gloomiest day of the week! Also, David is a little sicky, sick and so he doesn't drink alcohol and I don't really either and so we gave up our bottle of wine! And, the cheese and crackers, ehhh! But still, we were the only ones on the boat, besides the owners driving the boat, and it was nice and relaxing. A bit cold on the return route but glad we got to go!
Afterwards, we also decided to stop by C'est Si Bon, a bakery famous for their pain au chocolat. And yes, you bet they ran out of pain au chocolat. So, we just got a croissant instead. Sorry, no photo...I forgot.
And while we were driving down to the bakery, we found a little park with tables and we chowed down on our picnic food! The best part of the trip! Relaxing and eating cheap, homemade food!
I woke up in the morning to find that my mom left me this lunch sack. How neato!!!
