It snowed.
Yet, we still walked and walked.
Until we froze.
And then some of us had yummy turkish soup for only 3,50euro!
Though I don't like to freeze, I think I'm starting to like to cold.
It's so fresh and cool.
Amazing how things change...
"It's all a matter of habit."
I didn't really take pictures of the excursion but some things I learned today were really interesting. We walked around the "janky" areas of Rue du Saint Denis and Rue du Faubourg Saint Denis where there's a lot of immigrants, prostitutes, and illegal sweat shops. It was interesting to see that Paris isn't really a city of only glam and glitz. Just like any other metropolis, there's a lot of darkness and sadness. Lots of people giggled when the TA mentioned the asian prostitutes but it's actually really sad. Not just because I'm asian and I sympathize but these ladies seriously looked like normal ladies. When I walked out of the metro, I saw them and I thought "Hmm, these ladies look fobby and remind me of my mom!" Just imagine that: your own mom needs to be a prostitute to survive. Not so funny is it? Nope. Very, very sad. For anyone to be in such a position. Le sigh.

But anyways, when I come home from school, I just wanna curl up into a ball and be warm in my bed. But, I have much to do.
Keep on keepin' on to all of you who have finals!
WINTER BREAK SOON. WHOO HOOO!
but that means I'm leaving Paris soon.
Nooooooooooooooooo!
