New morning, new mercies.

Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

-Lamentations 3: 22-23

I used to love sleeping in. Ask anyone who knows me and they know I'm the ultimate sleeper in-er. But now, I love waking up. I love waking up early to get my day started fresh and in the cold morning. I love showering and "washing off the old self" and starting with new mercies and new motivation to do whatever I need to do that day: sightseeing, homeworking, studying, hanging out and on and on. Hopefully this habit carries on when I go back to the States.
