Food monster.

I think I'm becoming a food monster.
There's a lot things that I'm eating here that I would never eat at home:
mushrooms, eggplant, lamb's lettuce, plain tomatoes, and etc.
Also, my taste buds senses have heightened or something!
I always knew peanut butter was made out of peanut butter but,
not until last week, I ate peanuts and realized, "Hey, this tastes like peanut butter!"
Or maybe I'm just dumb.

Whatever. Here are some food updates:

1. Dating with Joann at a random café on Rue Mouffetard before our French Art class
appetizer: potato + fish
appetizer: oeuf mayonnaise (mayo-ed eggs)
plat: it was like meatloaf, but with salmon
plat: bolognaise-stuffed zucchini
dessert: pureed marron (chestnut) = so bomb + chocolate glace (ice cream) = always bomb

2. Dinner date with Joann and Suz
Our plan was to go to Briezh Café but of course, you need reservations for such a delicious place. Then we tried to go to Le Taxi Jaune but it was too pricey. So, we settled for an "American-ish" café called Indiana Café. I have this rule that I can't eat anything that I can find at home (cheeseburgers, McDonald's, boba)...but today, I was so hungry that I gave in. And I ate every single thing off my plate. Being hungry and not having a bacon cheeseburger makes one do that. I am proud.

3. Macaron date with myself...(:
I finally went to Pierre Herme to get myself two macaroons. Macaroons are too expensive!! I got two for 3,90euro. This place was ritzy, mang. But it sure was delicious. Also, there was a lady there that was buying boxes and boxes of macaroons and they cost like 35euro a box!! People in Paris are rich! (Idk how because minimum wage is 8,86/hr). It always made me think that this is like the See's Candies of Paris. I bet everyone gives each other these for Christmas when they can't think of anything else. Hehehe...
I got White Truffle and Hazelnut. The outer shell was like pearly pink. I don't know if you can see the shine on my fingers in the last picture...but that's real pearl dust. You get what you pay for mang.

Tomorrow is London where I shall see Shana Kim and Dianne Kim! And also eat lots of food (: and shop zero ):.
C'est la vie!
